Islamabad, Sep 19: For the next three days, Karachi is expected to be hot and muggy, with temperatures potentially rising above 35°C, as per the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
The city had hot and muggy conditions on Thursday, with a high temperature of 34.5°C, 1.5°C higher than the day before. There were largely clear skies and mild coastal breezes throughout the day.
Similar weather is predicted by the PMD for the upcoming days, with humidity levels predicted to rise to between 55% and 65%, making it feel even hotter than it is. There’s no chance of rain in the city right now, even with the extreme heat.
Because of the increased moisture in the air, which will magnify the perceived heat and make it feel much warmer than the actual recorded temperature, the increased humidity may be uncomfortable.
