The Karachi Water Corporation has announced that the water supply will remain suspended for two days in three districts of the city. According to media reports, the Karachi Water Corporation issued a public notice after WAPDA decided to close the Hub Canal for 48 hours.

Officials confirmed that the Hub Canal will remain completely closed from October 28 to October 29. The shutdown is necessary to carry out a detailed survey and repair work from Hub Dam to the X Regulator.

During this period, water supply to District West, District Keamari and District Central will be temporarily stopped. Residents in these areas are likely to face low or no water pressure until the completion of maintenance work.

The corporation has appealed to citizens to use water carefully and store it in advance to avoid inconvenience. Authorities assured that as soon as the restoration work is completed, water supply will return to normal and the public will be informed immediately.
