Islamabad, Oct 27: Karachi Weather Forecast, Sweltering Heat to Persist for Three More Days. Temperatures in Karachi are predicted to be scorching today, possibly reaching above 40 degrees Celsius. On Monday and Tuesday, they may also hit 40 and 39 degrees, respectively.
Karachi Weather may be affected by hot, dry winds from Balochistan in the morning. In the evening, coastal sea breezes are predicted to return for a brief period. In the morning, humidity levels might rise, but in the afternoon, they might stay mild.
The Meteorological Department states that there is no chance of a heatwave during the present one since heatwave conditions are caused by sea winds that have been closed for three days in a row. Three days of temperatures staying over 40 degrees and daytime humidity levels above 60% are other considerations.
Sajawal, Thatta, Umerkot, Mirpurkhas, and Tharparkar could experience temperatures as high as 42 degrees in rural Sindh. Earlier, temperatures in Karachi rose once more due to scorching northwest winds from Balochistan; on Thursday, the thermometer reached 39.2 degrees Celsius.
The heat index felt like 39 degrees due to a drop in humidity, and Friday’s high could reach 38 degrees. The city saw two different kinds of weather on Thursday, including a brief period of chilly weather between night and dawn.
However, the hot, dry winds from Balochistan caused temperatures to rise gradually throughout the day, reaching 37 degrees by midday.With a maximum temperature of 39.2 degrees Celsius and a humidity of 24%, the Meteorological Department reports that the heat index felt like the actual temperature.
Over the next three days, the weather is expected to stay hot and dry, with the majority of the day’s winds coming from the northwest (Balochistan), according to the Early Warning Center. In the evening, though, sea breezes are predicted to return.
According to Sardar Sarfaraz, Karachi’s chief meteorologist, a heatwave won’t develop if the humidity is between 20 and 30 percent. Also, according to the Early Warning Center, temperatures in rural Sindh areas like Tharparkar, Thatta, Umerkot, and Sujawal might be between 37 and 39 degrees. whilst hot and dry weather is predicted for other province areas.
