The spell of rain showers continues intermittently in the city. Today too, heavy downpours accompanied by thunder and lightning are expected.
Light to heavy rain is still ongoing in different parts of Karachi. The rainfall continues in North Karachi, Surjani, and M.A. Jinnah Road. Light showers are also reported in Jail Chowrangi, Shaheed-e-Millat Road, and Tariq Road.

The Meteorological Department has forecast heavy rainfall with thunder and lightning today as well. According to the Met Office, a low-pressure system is currently affecting the region. At present, dark clouds have covered the entire city.
