Islamabad, July 10, 2025: K-Electric consumers will receive major relief as the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has approved a fuel cost adjustment (FCA) of Rs. 4.03 per unit, to be reflected in July 2025 electricity bills for power consumed in April 2025.
According to NEPRA’s official notification, a negative FCA of Rs. 4.0349 per kWh has been approved. This benefit applies to all KE consumer categories except lifeline users, protected domestic users, EV charging stations, and prepaid consumers.
The adjustment will appear separately in monthly bills based on April’s unit consumption. NEPRA clarified that if July bills have already been issued, the adjustment will be applied in August bills instead.
