Khyber Medical University (KMU) has announced the results of MD-CAT 2025. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, only 53% of candidates were able to qualify for MBBS.
According to the KMU administration, 58% of candidates qualified for BDS, while only 2% of candidates across the province scored more than 170 marks.

The KMU administration stated that 9% of candidates scored between 160 and 170 marks, while 31% scored less than 90 marks and were therefore ineligible for admission to medical and dental colleges. Additionally, 1,539 candidates did not appear for the exam.
