Islamabad, May 6, 2025: Kiara Advani marked her first appearance at the Met Gala with a striking and emotional statement that left both fashion critics and fans captivated.
The Indian actress, who is expecting her first child, turned heads not just for her style but for the meaning behind it.
Advani became the first Indian actress to attend the prestigious fashion event while proudly showcasing her baby bump.
Her appearance was widely appreciated for blending high fashion with a deeply personal narrative, bringing together themes of strength, femininity, and transformation.

Dressed in an elegant black gown designed by Gaurav Gupta, Advani chose a look titled Bravehearts.
The ensemble symbolised the journey of motherhood, with a gold breastplate at its centre, crafted to represent both a mother’s and a baby’s heart.
The two were connected by a chain designed to resemble an umbilical cord, turning the outfit into a piece of wearable storytelling.
The gown featured an off-shoulder design, while a dramatic double-layered cape added depth and movement to her look.

This cape was intended as a tribute to the late André Leon Talley, the legendary fashion editor known for his bold, statement-making capes and silhouettes.
Her accessories were deliberately asymmetrical: a long dangler earring on one ear, paired with an ear cuff on the other, along with minimal yet bold rings.
Her fresh, glowing look featured soft smoky eyes, peach lips, flushed cheeks, and loose curls parted at the centre.
In a statement, Advani shared that this moment felt “incredibly special,” both as an artist and a mother-to-be.
She thanked stylist Anaita Shroff Adajania and designer Gaurav Gupta for capturing her motherhood journey in line with the theme “The Garden of Time.”
