Islamabad, Sep 4: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Department of Education has officially launched the e-Transfer Policy for teachers’ transfers.
Provincial Education Minister Faisal Khan Tarakai declared via video message that District Education Officers (DEOs) will publish open positions to the e-Transfer Portal by September 9th.
Teachers have until September 20th to apply online for these openings. The applications will be verified by the appropriate DEOs from September 21 to September 24. On September 26, the final merit list will be uploaded.
Online transfer orders will thereafter be available starting on September 27.
According to the education minister, all transfers would take place under the e-Transfer Policy once a year during the summer break.
He continued by saying that teachers will apply online for the posted positions, and the appropriate forum will decide whether to approve their transfers based only on merit.
He claims that neither office visits nor recommendations will be required. Since transfers will be made based only on merit and from the comfort of their homes, this procedure will free up teachers to concentrate just on teaching.
Tarakai promised in his video message that he would supervise the entire e-Transfer procedure and make sure that merit and openness are upheld at all costs.
Additionally, he said that the e-Transfer Policy has a number of indications, each with advantages of its own.
The most deserving teachers will be moved to the appropriate schools. He underlined that the Department of Education will entirely stop using manual transfers.
Additionally, to oversee the entire e-transfer procedure, focal individuals will be chosen at the District Education Office, Directorate, and Secretariat levels.
