Islamabad, Sep 7: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has launched a major new project to solve the province’s housing requirements.
According to specifics, authorities completed planning for a low-income housing program intended to offer impoverished citizens access to cheap housing options. In its initial phase, the plan will require an investment of PKR 4 billion. It offers interest-free loans up to PKR 1.5 million, with a focus on people who own five marlas of land but are unable to finance the construction of a house. For the project, the Housing Department has already started official planning, guaranteeing that residents would be able to obtain construction loans.
The loans are to be repaid in convenient payments over a ten-year period, with an easy repayment plan. This program seeks to assist landowners who have financial difficulties when building a home, which is an essential step in enhancing living standards and advancing fair housing access in the area.
