Islamabad, Oct 18: KP Government Launches Life Insurance Scheme for All Citizens: Major Step toward Social Security and Public Welfare. Muzammil Aslam, the Finance Advisor for Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, declared that the provincial administration had begun the “Life Insurance for All” program.
In the case that the household’s major earner passes away, the K-P government will provide financial support to families under this program. Those under 60 will receive up to Rs1 million in compensation, while those over 60 will receive up to Rs0.5 million. Furthermore, the government intends to create the first regional Islamic takaful insurance firm in the nation, offering Islamic life insurance.
Additionally, Muzammil Aslam emphasized that Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa was Pakistan’s first province to have universal health care. He listed the building of a 365-kilometer controlled-entry road corridor from Peshawar to Dera as one of the major projects. In order to facilitate foreign trade, this route will connect K-P to Punjab and Balochistan, passing through 12 districts.
