Islamabad, Mar 8, 2025: The Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) has partnered with the Bank of Khyber (BoK) to offer interest-free business loans to skilled youth in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
This initiative falls under the provincial government’s Ehsaas Hunar Program and aims to promote self-employment among young professionals.
During the agreement signing ceremony, Tufail Anjum, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister on Technical Education, emphasized that this program is a groundbreaking effort to empower young individuals by facilitating entrepreneurship.
The project, administered through BoK, has been allocated over Rs. 3 billion, with Rs. 200 million dedicated to the fiscal year 2024-25.

Under this scheme, nearly 35,000 skilled individuals will have access to business loans. Eligible applicants can obtain up to Rs. 500,000 in interest-free financing, payable in 36 monthly installments.
The program is open to residents of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa aged 18 to 40 who possess a certified skill or vocational diploma.
Notable figures attended the signing event, including Secretary Industry Amir Afaq, the Managing Directors of BoK and TEVTA, and other distinguished guests.
Officials highlighted that this initiative is a significant milestone in fostering youth-led enterprises and stimulating economic progress in the region.
