ISLAMABAD, JULY21: Under the direction of the president of the KP Students Games Association and the director of sports at the University of Peshawar Bahre Karam, the general council meeting of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Students Olympics Association was conducted on Sunday.
Along with Anwar Rasheed, Taj Muhammad, Director Sports Peshawar Education Board Manzar Khan, Director Sports Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University Maria Samin, Director Sports Laila Hidayatullah, Sajjad Khan, and others, the meeting was also attended by the President of the Pakistan Students Olympics Federation, Maqbool Arain.
Speaking at the meeting, President of the KP Students Olympic Association Bahre Karam declared that the number of games in the KP Students Olympic Games, which will take place in Peshawar in October, will be determined by the Executive Committee.
The meeting’s goal is to provide athletes from various age groups and educational institutions a chance to speak up. President of the KP Students Olympics Association Bahre Karam was given a traditional Sindhi Ajrak as a gift on this occasion by Federation President Maqbool Arain.
According to Arain, in order for us to win medals in the Olympic competitions, we must work together to advance the students in the Games. He declared that Karachi will host the Asian Student Olympic Games in 2025. In Bahrain, our team is taking part in the International Students Games.
There is no lack of talent; what is needed are opportunities. The Students’ Olympic Games were successfully hosted earlier in Islamabad, with a big number of KP students participating. According to him, September 21 Student Games has given students a platform to apply in a number of categories. According to him, preparations are also underway for the 2025 National Schools Games, which are scheduled for February 1–5. In addition to receiving government funding, players from U10 to U25 have the opportunity to compete at district, provincial, national, and international levels.
