Islamabad, 21 July: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) has launched its first Forest Carbon Credit Mapping Report, identifying ten potential projects across 2.2 million hectares that could hide over 400 million tons of carbon.

Backed by the SEED programme, the initiative is projected to generate $4 billion in revenue and create 50,000 green jobs.

KPK Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur hailed the report as a historic step toward integrating KP into global carbon markets.
