Islamabad, Mar 5, 2025: In a significant humanitarian effort, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief), in collaboration with Pakistan’s National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), has initiated the distribution of 30,000 food relief packages.
This large-scale operation aims to assist underprivileged communities across 33 districts during the sacred month of Ramazan.
As part of the Food Basket Project Pakistan 2025, this program aims to ensure food security for 210,000 individuals by providing essential supplies to families facing economic hardships.
Each relief package, weighing 95 kilograms, contains:
- 80 kg of wheat flour
- 5 liters of edible oil
- 5 kg of granulated sugar
- 5 kg of split chickpeas (Daal Chana)
The distribution process is being conducted with complete transparency, in close coordination with Provincial Disaster Management Authorities (PDMAs), Gilgit-Baltistan Disaster Management Authority (GBDMA), and State Disaster Management Authority (SDMA).
