Kuwait’s Ministry of Interior has dismissed social media claims of pardons for expatriates who violated family sponsorship visas under Article 22. Officials confirmed that no such relief has been announced and warned citizens to trust only official government statements.
Authorities stated that violators of Article 22 will face strict action, including deportation of both the individual and their sponsor. The ministry underlined that altering visa status will not protect those breaking residency rules.
Despite this crackdown, Kuwait recently reopened multiple visa categories for Pakistanis after nearly two decades. Work, family, business, and tourist visas are now available online, creating major opportunities for overseas employment. This development has fueled a surge in demand for a Kuwait visa for Pakistanis, especially among skilled workers.
