Islamabad, 23, Apr, 2025: Labour Day 2025 will be marked by a nationwide public holiday in Pakistan on May 1, as officially declared by the federal government.
The announcement came through a formal notice from the Cabinet Division, confirming the day off across public offices and most private institutions.
The notification, issued as part of the government’s annual list of public and optional holidays for 2025, outlines that Labour Day 2025 will fall on a Thursday this year.
According to the circular dated December 23, 2024, all government departments, schools, and many private organisations will suspend operations for the day.
