Islamabad, 26 June 2025: The Pakistan Army has officially announced the opening of registration for the 27th Lady Cadet Course (LCC-27), offering a direct pathway for Pakistani women to be commissioned as Captains in various specialized corps.
Online registration commenced on June 23, 2025, and will remain open until July 22, 2025. Eligible candidates can apply through the official recruitment portal at www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk or by visiting Army Selection and Recruitment Centres across the country.
Opportunities for Women to Serve as Commissioned Officers
This initiative marks another significant step in the Pakistan Army’s commitment to gender inclusivity and merit-based recruitment, encouraging qualified women to join the armed forces in key roles.
Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Pakistani citizenship
- Unmarried female applicants (widows without children may apply)
- Maximum age of 28 years as of November 1, 2025
- Minimum height: 5 feet (152.4 cm)
- Minimum education: 16 years of formal education from an HEC-recognized institution
- CGPA/Marks: Minimum 2.5 CGPA (semester system) or 60% marks (annual system)
Women with MS/MPhil degrees are also encouraged to apply and will be given preference over junior candidates.

Two Annual Intakes – LCC Growing in Demand
The Lady Cadet Course is offered twice a year, and demand continues to grow with each batch. The current LCC-27 follows the previous round (LCC-25) held in November 2025, and is expected to attract a large number of qualified applicants from across Pakistan.

Eligible candidates are encouraged to visit www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk to complete their registration before July 22, 2025. The selection process includes initial tests, medical examinations, interviews, and final training at the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA).
