Government Primary School Jeewan Hana, Garden Town, Lahore has been shut down. The decision was made due to the school having less than 100 students enrolled. Currently, the school had 80 students and 5 teachers.

Despite multiple warnings, the enrollment did not increase, after which the school was closed and merged with a nearby high school.

The school in-charge was also accused of collecting an illegal five-month combined fee from the students.

The DEO Elementary (Women) took immediate notice and shifted the students to the high school, while all five teachers were transferred to other schools in Gulberg.
