Islamabad, June 30, 2025: The Lahore Parking Company is set to expand its smart parking initiative by rolling out an automated system at 10 more major locations in Lahore. The company is replacing the old slip-based system with modern tech to improve efficiency and transparency.
Following success at Liberty and Barkat Market, automation will now be introduced at Children’s Hospital, Main Market Gulberg, Hall Road, Bhandara Center, Mall Road, Nila Gumbad, Johar Town, Iqbal Town, Model Town, and Empress Market. Over 100 thermal printers will be deployed, and parking staff will receive handheld devices for fast and accurate ticketing.
All upgraded sites will be monitored through a centralized digital dashboard, ensuring real-time data tracking and better revenue management. A tender for the equipment purchase will be issued soon.
This latest move aims to cut down on manual errors, curb corruption, and streamline Lahore’s parking system with smart city solutions. The Lahore Parking Company believes the expansion will significantly enhance parking operations across the city.
