Islamabad, 16 April 2025: Lahore Qalandars registered a thumping 65-run victory over Karachi Kings in the sixth match of PSL Season 10 in Karachi.
Karachi fell for 136 in 19.1 overs while chasing 202, unable to recover despite Khushdil Shah’s resistance and early damage by Shaheen Afridi.
The Kings’ innings got off to a disastrous start when Afridi removed both openers, David Warner and James Vince, for ducks in the first over.
Following the early collapse, Shan Masood and Tim Seifert attempted to stabilise the innings but could only add 39 runs for the third wicket before falling in successive overs.

From 45/4, the situation quickly deteriorated as Karachi lost three more wickets and slumped to 50/7.
A brief eighth-wicket stand between Hasan Ali and Khushdil Shah provided some resistance, adding 48 runs before Afridi returned to dismiss Hasan.
Khushdil top-scored with 39 off 27 balls, hitting four boundaries and two sixes. Hasan contributed 27 from 25 deliveries.
Afridi and Rishad Hossain bagged three wickets each, while Sikandar Raza claimed two.
The win not only ended Lahore’s five-match losing streak against Karachi but also boosted their points tally to four from three matches, placing them second on the table.

Earlier, Lahore opted to bat and posted 201/6 in 20 overs, thanks to half-centuries from Fakhar Zaman and Daryl Mitchell.
The pair rescued the innings after Hasan Ali had struck twice early on, dismissing Mohammad Naeem and Abdullah Shafique cheaply.
Fakhar made 76 off 47 balls, while Mitchell scored 75 from 41 deliveries. Their 125-run stand laid the foundation for a strong total.
Hasan was Karachi’s standout performer with the ball, finishing with figures of 4/28.
