The squad includes South African spinner Tabraiz Shamsi and West Indian all-rounder Carlos Brathwaite. Joining them are English players Adam Rossington, Tom Abell, and Luke Wells, who will also represent the Qalandars in this multi-franchise T20 tournament.
The team will disclose its local player roster in the coming days.
However, key international stars such as Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf, Fakhar Zaman, and Abdullah Shafique are unlikely to participate due to their packed international schedules.
Recently, the Qalandars appointed former English pacer Darren Gough as their head coach, replacing Aqib Javed, who now serves on Pakistan’s national selection committee.
Guyana will host the inaugural edition of the Global Super League from November 26 to December 7, featuring five teams from around the globe.
Competing franchises include Lahore Qalandars, Bangladesh’s Rangpur Riders, Australia’s Victoria, England’s Hampshire, and Guyana Amazon Warriors from the Caribbean Premier League.
