Punjab has given the go-ahead for a new theme park in Lahore, sparking curiosity about the attractions and experiences it may offer.

Lahore is set to get a major boost in entertainment as the Punjab government has approved a planning study for a Rs. 200 million theme park. The project aims to provide modern recreational facilities for families and strengthen the city’s tourism profile.

Officials say the theme park will introduce new leisure attractions, making Lahore a hub for both residents and visitors seeking entertainment. The approval came during a Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) meeting, which also cleared several other tourism an d infrastructure initiatives across Punjab. These include plans for a Sky Walk Glass Bridge in Murree, chairlifts and cable cars, and road development schemes.

The move was part of a wider development push, with the government also approving other projects in tourism and infrastructure across Punjab.
