The government has launched a unique project to promote tourism in Lahore. PHA will establish a ship-shaped restaurant in the Lahore Canal.
PHA has invited tenders for the ship restaurant, and the Punjab government has already approved the project.
According to DG PHA Raja Mansoor, the ship restaurant project will be completed within the current financial year. The ship restaurant will be set up near Jallo along the Lahore Canal.
The ship restaurant will have three floors, with a separate kitchen and parking area. Around 200 people will be able to dine there at the same time.
Entry to the ship restaurant will be free, but visitors will have to pay for the food. PHA will outsource the management of the restaurant, giving preference to a high-quality food chain to run the operations.
