Islamabad, Feb 7: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has launched a project to construct exclusive biker lanes, enhancing road safety and traffic efficiency. Inspired by Beijing’s successful model, the first 10-kilometer stretch, running from Ferozepur Road to Lahore Bridge, has been completed under the directive of CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz.
The initiative aims to promote organized traffic movement, reducing accidents involving motorcycles. Authorities urge citizens to adhere to lane discipline, ensuring the project’s long-term success. Expansion plans are in place to introduce similar lanes across Lahore, making commuting safer and more structured.
