Islamabad, Sep 28: Lahore Weather: Refreshing Rain Offers Relief from Intense Heat Early on Saturday, Lahore experienced light rain and a cool breeze, which made for lovely weather and provided a break from the heat of the previous few days.
Details show that there was little rain in Laxmi Chowk, Abbott Road, Shimla Pahari, Garhi Shahu, Canal Road, Mall Road, Defence, Ferozepur Road, Peco Road, Ghazi Road, Kalma Chowk, and Gulberg.
Following the rain, Lahore’s weather became pleasant and there was a little drop in temperature, ending the city’s humid and sweltering circumstances.
The end of the scorching weather was brought about by heavy rain and thunderstorms that were recorded from several parts of Punjab, including Pattoki, Daska, Nowshera Virkan, Wazirabad, Hafizabad, Gujranwala, Shahkot, and the neighboring districts.
Strong showers also hit Pakpattan, Shergarh, and the surrounding districts.The Met Office predicts that there will likely be additional rain in Lahore and the neighboring areas in the next 24 hours.
The Meteorological Department reports that today’s minimum temperature in the city was 24°C, while the maximum temperature is predicted to reach 32°C. The current 90% humidity level adds to the warm, muggy weather.
With an overall Air Quality Index (AQI) of 129, which indicates moderate pollution levels in the city, Lahore Weather is now placed sixth on the global air pollution index. Over the next twelve hours, rain, windstorms, and thundershowers are predicted in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, northeastern and central Punjab, the Potohar region, Islamabad, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan.
There is a chance of heavy rainfall and hailstorms in several areas of upper Punjab, Islamabad, and Kashmir. In other parts of the country, temperatures are predicted to be hot and dry.
