ISLAMABAD, JULY19: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) plans to open the city’s first health and education centers.
The information indicates that LDA Director General Tahir Farooq went into great detail on the impending development projects. The proposed education city, which will occupy 350 kanals, and the health city, which will occupy 200 kanals, were heavily briefed on at the conference.
Usman Nazar, the director of LDA City projects, and Hafeezullah, the director of LDA City, gave the attendees an update on the development of the LDA City housing scheme. Officials have been instructed by Director General Tahir Farooq to accelerate the transfer of three further blocks in LDA City.
He emphasized that within the next two weeks, the owners of the more than 1,000 plots in the Jinnah Sector’s B, D, and E blocks should receive their possessions. He also emphasized the need of offering all facilities required for the development of homes in blocks where possession has already been given. He also emphasized the necessity of making sure that development charges be recovered from allottees who have not yet made payment, with an emphasis on raising living standards and infrastructure in Lahore, the panel also examined current development work on structural plan highways and the Iqbal Sector.
