The Discos Support Unit of the Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) has achieved a major breakthrough in its ongoing effort to recover dues from defaulting consumers, managing to retrieve more than Rs 4.8 billion to date.
This recovery campaign, which is actively running across all operational regions, has brought in significant amounts:
- The Northern Circle succeeded in collecting over Rs 680 million from 19,275 individuals who had failed to clear their outstanding bills.
- In the Eastern Circle, dues worth Rs 950 million were recovered from 18,555 consumers.
- The Central Circle secured more than Rs 800 million from 20,521 defaulters.
- Meanwhile, the Southern Circle recorded collections of over Rs 350 million, dealing with 11,216 non-paying users.

Officials from LESCO have stated that the recovery efforts will move ahead with full force, as the company seeks to stabilize its financial health and ensure timely payments across all zones.
