Islamabad, Apr 12, 2025: Karachi Kings have been dealt a major blow as Litton Das has been ruled out of the tournament due to injury.
The franchise confirmed the setback shortly after Litton revealed the news on his official social media hours before the first encounter against Multan Sultans.
The right-hander had been picked up by Karachi Kings in the PSL draft and had already joined the squad in preparation for the season 10th.
However, during a training session earlier this week, the stylish top-order Bangladeshi batter sustained a finger injury.

Medical scans later confirmed a hairline fracture, ruling him out for at least two weeks.
As a result, the player has flown back to Bangladesh and will not take part in the ongoing Pakistan Super League competition.
In a heartfelt post on social media, Litton shared that he was eager to represent Karachi Kings and was looking forward to his debut in the PSL.
He said he had high hopes but fate had other plans, thanked fans for their support, sought prayers for recovery, and wished the Kings success.
The timing of the injury is particularly disappointing for Karachi, who are looking to bounce back after a string of underwhelming seasons.

With the squad already under pressure to deliver results, the absence of Litton will likely force the team management to rethink their top-order strategy.
Meanwhile, the PSL 2025 season got underway with Islamabad United registering a dominant win over Lahore Qalandars in the opening match.
Two matches are set for today in Rawalpindi, with Peshawar facing Quetta in the afternoon and Karachi meeting Multan in the evening.
With Litton out, Karachi Kings will turn to local and overseas players to fill the gap in their opening game tonight.
