Islamabad, June 26, 2025: Brian Johnson, social media influencer known as the “Liver King,” was arrested on Tuesday in Austin after allegedly making terroristic threats aimed at podcaster Joe Rogan.
The 46-year-old influencer is known for promoting a raw meat diet and “ancestral living,” gained attention through social media and the Netflix documentary Untold: The Liver King. The film details his rise to online fame and the backlash following revelations about steroid use.
According to the Austin Police Department, investigators were alerted on the morning of June 24 that Johnson had posted threatening videos on his Instagram account, where he openly challenged Rogan and claimed he was on his way to Austin.
Police reviewed the videos, in which Johnson said, “Joe Rogan, I’m calling you out… I’m picking a fight with you.” In another post, he added, “I’m willing to die, hoping that you’ll choke me out.”
