LAHORE, June 2, 2025: With temperatures soaring in the provincial capital Lahore, along with possibility of rain during the Eid-ul-Adha holidays, there is a real fear simmering in the citizens regarding potential power outage.

However, the Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) has assured that there will be no load-shedding from Friday to Monday, (June 6-9). In a statement issued on Monday, LESCO said that they have made special arrangements to ensure uninterrupted supply of electricity across the city.
All relevant departments have been instructed to ensure that the entire staff of the authority is available throughout holidays, LESCO spokesperson told media. This includes everyone from repair and maintenance staff to the personnel on complaint center duty.
Measures have also been put in place to ensure quick resolution of any emergency situations that might arise.
LESCO has also procured extra transformer trolleys during Eid-ul-Adha holidays, to make sure that any untoward incident related to any transformers’ faults is quickly resolved.

So whether this Eid brings rain or a heatwave, the denizens may spend their festivities with peace of mind with regards to power supply.
