LPG prices in Karachi are being charged far above official rates. Despite the government rate being set at 201 rupees per kilogram, in various areas of the city, LPG is being sold at 230 to 250 rupees per kilogram.
Citizens have complained that shopkeepers are charging arbitrary prices, and OGRA’s fixed rates are not being enforced.
