Islamabad, August 25, 2025 – The Government of Pakistan has announced the transfer and posting of Major General Noor Wali Khan, HI (M), as Additional Secretary (BS-21), Interior & Narcotics Control Division.
According to the notification issued by the Cabinet Secretariat, Establishment Division, the appointment has been made on secondment basis for a period of three years, with immediate effect and will remain in force until further orders.
The notification, signed by Rubina Akhtar, Deputy Secretary to the Government of Pakistan, directs relevant departments and officials to take necessary action, including the assumption of charge and updating official records.

The Establishment Division has also instructed that the notification be uploaded for public record and a copy of charge relinquishment/assumption report be furnished promptly.
