Islamabad, May 11, 2025: In a significant development for Hajj pilgrims, Pakistan’s airspace has now been fully reopened for all flights, ensuring the smooth continuation of travel for those embarking on the sacred pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia.

This announcement was made by a spokesperson from the Ministry of Religious Affairs, following a temporary closure due to security concerns.

The reopening comes as a relief to the thousands of Pakistani pilgrims whose journeys had been temporarily halted by the airspace suspension.

Although 10 Hajj flights were initially canceled, the situation has now been resolved, and all future flights will proceed on schedule.

As of now, 19,669 Pakistani pilgrims have successfully arrived in Saudi Arabia, with the Ministry of Religious Affairs coordinating closely with airlines and relevant agencies to make necessary adjustments to flight schedules and prevent further disruptions.
