Islamabad, July 1, 2025: Mari Energies Limited and Ghani Chemical Industries Limited have signed a term sheet to explore a joint gas recovery project in Sindh aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

The collaboration focuses on evaluating the feasibility of capturing and processing vent and exhaust gases from the Sachal Gas Processing Complex (SGPC) at Mari Field, Daharki. This move is aligned with Mari Energies’ long-term sustainability strategy to reduce its carbon footprint.

Both companies will assess the technical and commercial viability of the proposed initiative. If feasible, they intend to form a joint venture and set up a dedicated project company to carry out the operation.

The project highlights Mari Energies’ commitment to environmentally responsible energy solutions and supports Pakistan’s broader climate goals. It also marks a strategic expansion for Ghani Chemical Industries into clean-tech collaborations within the energy sector.
