Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has unveiled new AI-powered smart glasses with live captions, translations, and a built-in display, launching soon.

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has introduced a new line of AI smart glasses developed in partnership with Ray-Ban.

The flagship “Ray-Ban Display” model features a built-in lens display for notifications, live captions, and real-time translations, supported by a neural wristband that enables hands-free control. Priced at $799, the glasses will be available from September 30, 2025.

Alongside this, Meta also announced the second-generation Ray-Ban Meta glasses and a sport-focused Oakley Meta Vanguard model. Despite some technical glitches during the live demo, Zuckerberg described the glasses as part of Meta’s broader vision to make AI-powered wearables a daily necessity in the future.
