A delegation headed by British High Commissioner Jane Marriott paid a visit to Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) leader and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif at Jatiumra near Lahore, as reported by 24NewsHD TV channel.
The discussions during the meeting extensively covered matters of mutual interest and bilateral relations. Additionally, there were deliberations on the advancement and enhancement of the social sector.
Prior to this, the British envoy engaged in discussions with newly-appointed Punjab Governor Sardari Salim Haider at the Governor’s House in Lahore. The meeting addressed various topics including bilateral relations and strategies to address challenges arising from climate change and the wheat crisis.
