The Punjab Boards have announced that the Matric exams for the year 2026 will begin from March 3 across the province. This schedule applies to all boards including Lahore Faisalabad Multan Sargodha Rawalpindi Gujranwala Bahawalpur and DG Khan. Students are advised to start their exam preparation now as the final dates have been confirmed. The early announcement will help students manage their study plans and reduce last minute pressure. Teachers and schools have also been directed to complete the syllabus and revision work before the exam session begins.
Which Classes Are Included
The exams starting from March 3 will be for
- 9th Class
- 10th Class
Both classes will follow the same examination window based on the schedule issued by the Punjab Boards Committee of Chairpersons.

When Will the Date Sheet Be Released
The official date sheet for Matric Exams 2026 will be issued in the coming weeks. Once released the schedule will be available on the board websites and can also be collected from schools.
