The MDCAT 2025 is being conducted today across Pakistan, including Islamabad, with thousands of students appearing for the medical entrance exam.

Examination centers closed at 9 a.m., the test began at 10 a.m., and will end at 1 p.m. Candidates are not allowed to leave before 2 p.m., while authorities have warned of strict action against cheating.

This year, the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) introduced key reforms by launching a digital question bank to make the process transparent. Universities will now prepare and conduct the exam, while PMDC will oversee registration and monitoring to ensure fairness nationwide.

The MDCAT 2025 syllabus covers Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English, and Logical Reasoning, with topics like genetics, organic reactions, electricity, and comprehension skills.

Over 97,000 students have registered for the MDCAT 2025, with the number expected to exceed 150,000. The exam is being conducted under strict supervision at 30 centers across the country.
