The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has announced new examination centres for MDCAT 2025 to help students from remote areas appear for the test more easily. This change aims to reduce the long journeys and expenses that candidates from Sindh and Balochistan often face.

Under the revised plan, students from these provinces can now take the exam in Islamabad. Jacobabad has been added as a new centre for candidates from upper Sindh who previously had to travel to Karachi, Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, Larkana, Shaheed Benazirabad or Sukkur.

Furthermore, Sukkur IBA University and Bolan University of Medical and Health Sciences, Quetta will establish a new test centre in Islamabad. This will especially help students living in the federal capital who are preparing for the exam as they no longer need to return to their home provinces.
