In Abbottabad the Health Department has completed all arrangements for the upcoming Measles Rubella vaccination campaign. The campaign is scheduled to run from 17 November to 29 November 2025. The goal is to protect children from measles and rubella two highly contagious diseases that can lead to serious health complications if left untreated. The Officials have confirmed that vaccination teams and medical supplies are fully prepared. The district administration has also directed all departments to cooperate and support the smooth execution of the campaign. Awareness efforts will be launched to guide parents and encourage them to bring their children for vaccination on time.

Measles and rubella outbreaks still occur in several parts of Pakistan. These diseases can spread quickly among children who are not vaccinated. This campaign is part of a nationwide effort to improve child health and prevent avoidable illnesses.

Who Will Be Vaccinated
The campaign targets children aged six months to five years. The vaccine will be provided free of cost. Parents are advised to accompany their children and bring any available vaccination record card if they have one.
