Islamabad, Apr 5, 2025: Microsoft has unveiled plans to enhance its Copilot AI assistant, enabling it to complete online tasks on users’ behalf.
These advancements will allow Copilot to function similarly to AI agents, taking on tasks like making reservations, booking event tickets, and purchasing items for delivery.
Users can issue simple text commands, known as “Actions,” while Copilot works autonomously in the background, freeing users to focus on other activities.
The software will initially support several leading online services, with partners including Booking.com, Expedia, Kayak, Tripadvisor, Skyscanner, Viator, Vrbo, and Priceline, which are centered around travel and vacations, making Copilot an ideal companion for trip planning.
OpenTable will manage dining reservations, and 1-800-Flowers.com will assist with flower orders.
Microsoft has stated that Copilot’s “Actions” will work seamlessly across a wide range of websites, enhancing its versatility.
Additionally, the AI is expected to help coordinate transportation after events, suggesting integration with ridesharing or taxi services to ensure a smooth journey home.

This rollout also introduces other personalization features, such as converting online articles into AI-generated podcasts and helping users find and buy products at discounted prices.
Copilot will soon be able to analyze and respond to images captured by the user’s camera, similar to Google’s upcoming Gemini features.
However, Microsoft has not yet provided full details on how the “Actions” functionality will work.
The initial launch of Copilot’s new “Actions” feature begins today, with broader access anticipated to expand in the weeks and months ahead, depending on the platform, language, and region.
This release marks a significant step forward for AI assistants, offering automatic task management capabilities to the public for the first time.
