Islamabad: Microsoft has unveiled a new AI-powered Agent for Windows PCs, designed to automate tasks and enhance user experience across Copilot+ PCs and Windows 11.

This on-device AI assistant allows users to make system-level adjustments through natural language commands—such as controlling the computer by voice or adjusting settings like the mouse pointer size.

If granted permission, the Agent can execute these actions directly.

A standout addition is the on-device AI assistant, Agent, designed to facilitate system-level adjustments via natural language commands.

Users can instruct Agent to perform tasks such as voice control activation or enlarging the mouse pointer.

Initially supporting English-language queries, Microsoft plans to expand language options in future updates.

The rollout begins with Copilot+ PCs powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon chips, with support for Intel and AMD systems to follow.

Enhanced Click to Do Capabilities

Microsoft is improving its Click to Do function within Copilot, enabling the AI to perform tasks based on on-screen content.

Users can prompt the AI to draft content in Word, convert text into bulleted lists, transfer data into Excel, manage scheduling and messaging in Microsoft Teams, and activate accessibility tools like Reading Coach and Immersive Reader—all without switching applications.

New Features for Windows 11 Devices

Beyond Copilot+ PCs, Microsoft is enhancing Windows 11 with new AI-powered tools.

The Copilot app now includes Copilot Vision, allowing it to view and interpret the user’s screen for more personalized assistance.

Additionally, the Start menu has been redesigned for improved accessibility, and AI-powered features have been integrated into File Explorer, Paint, Photos, Notepad, and the Snipping Tool.
