Islamabad, Aug 23: Microsoft has revealed the date of release for the next Xbox Series S and Series X, as well as the special edition 2TB Series X.
According to an official press release, the three versions, which were unveiled earlier this month, will be available in select regions on October 29 and on October 15 respectively.
“The Xbox Series S – 1TB in Robot White, Xbox Series X – 1TB Digital Edition in Robot White, and Xbox Series X – 2TB Galaxy Black Special Edition will be available for pre-order starting later today,” the August 21 statement stated.
The cost of the 1TB Series X is $449.99, the 2TB Series X is $599.99, and the white 1TB Series S is $349.99.
Head of Xbox devices Roanne Sones stated that now was the best moment to start using the new consoles in addition to revealing the release date.
Our goal at Xbox is to provide more games to more gamers on a broad range of platforms. It’s a terrific moment to enjoy Xbox games, with many of them being accessible to members of Game Pass for Console,
PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Ultimate from day one,” Sones continued. Several nations, including India, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Israel, Korea, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, Turkey, and the UAE, are not included in this first distribution of the newest consoles, even though they will be made available in all locations where Xbox hardware is supported.
Microsoft has not yet disclosed any intentions to release these models in these prohibited areas.
