Islamabad, Aug 14, 2025: Mission Impossible Final Reckoning will leave the world theatres without reaching the box office of 600 million dollars. The Tom Cruise action thriller had box-office momentum in the early stages but it was crowded out of the competition by other blockbuster debuts. It was also not able to beat the global income of the Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol.

Another decisive factor in the fight of the movie was its massive cost of production. As the last, that was marketed as the final chapter of the franchise, it generated an attractive audience, including China whereby it was well-received.

Although it did not match the larger records, the movie occupied one of the ten most successful releases of 2025 with more than half a billion dollars of profits gained across the world. Box Office Mojo has reported that the action thriller had its opening weekend gross at the North American box office with $64.03 million in 3,857 cinemas.

It is playing in only 100 locations 81 days after. Domestic revenues are at $197.36 million and not expected to reach the $200 million measure whereas foreign grosses are at $398.2 million giving a worldwide total of $595.56 million.

Although it ranks fourth among the Mission: Impossible franchises, beating Dead Reckoning, the Mission Impossible Final Reckoning is not able to match Ghost Protocol that yielded $694.7 million. The major releases such as Jurassic World Rebirth and Superman slowed it down and it barely had enough to become the third in the franchise by less than a hundred million dollars.
