Islamabad, Sep 1: To assist female instructors and students in Islamabad, the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training (MoFEPT) announced the Pink Bus Service’s authorized routes. Twenty pink buses will be used by the program, according to MoFEPT officials, to offer free transportation for female instructors and students throughout the nation’s capital.
The following are the routes that the Pink Bus Service has designated;
Nilore’s Route 1-A to F-11/1 FGCH&E&MS
Nilore Route 1-B (Ziarat Stop to Secretariat)
F-11/1 FGCH&E&MS to Route 2-A Bhara Kahu (via F-6)
From G-6, use Route 2-B Bhara Kahu to F-11/1 FGCH&E&MS.
Humak to Secretariat via Route 3-A.
F-11/1 FGCH&E&MS to Route 3-B Humak.
The twenty buses have been purchased for different institutions and schools in Islamabad. They have a unique pink look and will be used in both the city’s urban and rural areas. The project will provide new, free bus service to and from educational institutions for female teachers and students in the nation’s capital.
By addressing the dearth of suitable transportation choices, especially for female students and teachers, this cooperative endeavor between MOFEPT and the district government seeks to alleviate the transportation issues faced by women in accessing educational facilities. The government’s initiatives to improve access to education for everyone will be further supported by the free transportation provided by these buses for female teachers and students.
