Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has claimed that Islamabad holds exclusive video evidence of six Indian aircraft shot down by PAF during last month’s Indo-Pak military confrontation.
Speaking at a seminar organized by the Professor Waris Mir Foundation in Lahore, Naqvi said Pakistan deliberately withheld a public announcement until “concrete proof” was available, adding that such video documentation was secured within minutes of the incident.
He lauded Pakistan’s intelligence agencies as “silent warriors”, stating they had advance information about India’s war strategy, including the timing and type of aircraft to be deployed. Naqvi further revealed that seven Indian missiles targeting a Pakistani base missed their mark, while Pakistan’s counter-strike destroyed a major Indian oil depot without civilian casualties.

The minister praised Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and the armed forces for decisive leadership, highlighting that for the first time, Pakistan’s Army, Air Force, and Navy carried out joint war planning under a unified strategy.
However, India has denied the claims, with Defence Chief General Anil Chauhan dismissing them as “absolutely incorrect.” Independent outlets have also noted that while Pakistan asserts it possesses the footage, no evidence has yet been made public.
The statement is expected to further heighten regional tensions as both countries trade claims over the scale and outcome of recent clashes.
