Islamabad, July 14, 2025: Momina Iqbal denies false gender identity rumours, clarifies viral video was misinterpreted and edited out of context.

Rumours have been circulating about Pakistani actress Momina Iqbal, falsely claiming that she is transgender or a Khwajasira, a term commonly used in South Asia for trans or intersex individuals. These claims stemmed from a viral video clip that was taken out of context from an older interview.
