Islamabad experienced another round of monsoon showers today, bringing much needed relief from the severe heatwave that had swept the capital over the past several days. The rain, helped lower the temperatures significantly, offering people a refreshing break from the recent summer conditions.
With cloudy skies, cool breezes, and rainfall, the city’s atmosphere is transformed into a more pleasant and breathable environment. Many locals have welcomed the fall, with social media showing images and videos capturing the beauty of rain soaked streets. The Margalla Hills covered in haze, presenting a calm and peaceful view.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the current monsoon activity is expected to continue over the next few days, reaching not just Islamabad but also parts of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Kashmir.
