The grants will support studies in a wide range of fields including medicine, engineering, management sciences, veterinary sciences, architecture, and more across undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels.
Morocco Announces Scholarships as part of its bilateral education outreach, aiming to enhance global exposure for Pakistani youth. To qualify, applicants must meet certain academic and age-related benchmarks.
For undergraduate applicants, completion of 12 years of schooling and being under 23 is mandatory. Master’s candidates require a 16-year academic background, while PhD hopefuls must have completed 18 years of relevant education.
Moreover, candidates must present a valid HAT or USAT score, depending on the program level, which will play a key role in the shortlisting process. All applications are to be submitted online by Thursday, June 12, 2025, 4:00 PM PST via the HEC scholarship portal.
Given that French is the primary medium of instruction in most Moroccan public institutions particularly in disciplines like science, economics, and technology selected candidates will first undertake a French language training program, likely hosted by organizations such as Alliance Française in Pakistan.
Those aiming to study Arabic Language or Islamic Studies must already possess proficiency in Arabic, as these courses are delivered entirely in that language.
The application process does not require hard copies of documents during the initial phase. However, shortlisted individuals will later need to provide academic transcripts, statements of purpose, recommendation letters, a valid medical certificate, police clearance, and a No Objection Certificate (NOC) if currently employed.
Importantly, students applying to fields like medicine, law, or engineering are advised to verify whether their intended Moroccan degree is recognized by relevant Pakistani regulatory bodies such as the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC), Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), or Pakistan Bar Council (PBC). The PMDC has also issued updated guidance for students seeking medical education abroad.
