GUJRANWALA, May 29, 2025: Renowned Pakistani Cricket Hasan Ali’s mother was looted in Gujranwala. The suspect who snatched her wallet has reportedly been arrested by the police. Valuables stolen from Hasan Ali’s mother have also been recovered.

According to the police officials, the suspect has been identified as Ibrahim alias Ali, who is a resident of Lahore. He was visiting his relatives in Gujranwala where he committed the incident.
A special team, led by SSP Operations Rizwan Tariq, tracked the criminal using CCTV footage and other modern investigative equipment, the police officials told media on Thursday.
The accused is now under investigation, and the City Police Officer (CPO) has said that he will face strict legal action in court.

Hasan Ali is currently playing as part of Pakistan team against Bangladesh in the ongoing T20 International series in Lahore. His impressive bowling spell, of five wickets for 20 balls, in the last match has pushed Pakistan into the lead in the three-match series. He conceded a total of 30 runs in that match. He will play again tomorrow in the second T20I, at the Gaddafi Stadium.
